VPP Steering Committee
The mission of the University's VPP Steering Committee is to prepare to apply for IOSHA's Voluntary Protection Program. This is accomplished through active promotion and communication of VPP and the University's safety and health programs. By creating and fostering an active understanding in VPP and safety & health, the Committee helps establish and maintain the commitment and programs reflective of a VPP worksite.
The purpose of the Communications Committee is to develop and execute a plan with the goal of informing every faculty and staff on Campus of VPP.
Gap Assessment Committee
The purpose of the Gap Assessment Committee is to plan and coordinate IOSHA gap assessments. This includes setting up interviews, tours, meeting rooms, and gathering documents.
The purpose of the Outreach Committee is to identify internal and external outreach opportunities which include visiting all safety committees across Campus, determining profitable conferences off-campus, and identifying networking opportunities with other VPP companies.
