Incident Reporting & Review
The University's Incident Reporting, Notification, and Review Program provides guidelines for reporting and reviewing campus incidents. Knowledge of work-related incidents, regardless of type, allows the University to identify workplace hazards and gaps in our safety and health programs. More importantly, this knowledge enables us to identify and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
All employees are required to complete Incident Reporting training annually. The course, titled "Incident Reporting & Access to Medical Records" is available in complyND. Supervisors are required to be trained initially and every two years thereafter on conducting and documenting incident investigations. This instructor-led training is provided by certified facilitators in your department or by RMS.
